Meet the Team!
Ali Butt
Ali, our Program Director, is a first-year family medicine resident at the University of Toronto. He is a passionate advocate for community health. Ali is the founder of the Walk With a Future Doc program in Mississauga, Ontario. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and learning about different cultures and traditions.
Ally Zhao
Ally, our program coordinator is a second year medical student excited to work with WWAD. Being from the GTA where parks are sometimes hard to find, she is an avid walker and is excited for the next year ahead. She enjoys cooking and running in her free time.
Nisha Tailor
Nisha, our Multimedia Coordinator, is a third- year medical student at the University of Toronto. She is interested in community wellness, advocacy, and using media to promote health. She enjoys dancing and spending time in nature.
Labeeb Hassan
Labeeb, our Outreach Coordinator, is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto with a passion for education, community health, patient advocacy, and preventative care. He is especially committed to mentoring youth and advancing equitable access to healthcare. Outside of medicine, he enjoys history, working out, playing soccer, canoeing, and the outdoors.
Ryan Hsieh
Ryan, our Community Liaison, is a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto. He has strong interests in preventative medicine and holistic care. Outside of medicine, he also enjoys playing sports and trying new cuisines.
Raeesah Mohammed
Raeesah, our Community Liaison, is a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto who is passionate about community wellness and advocacy. She loves expressing creativity through art and reading a good book.
Shreya Chatterjee
Shreya is a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto. She enjoys connecting with people and fostering welcoming spaces that promote health and community engagement. In her free time, she enjoys singing and running.
Jennifer Kim
Jennifer is a first-year medical student at University of Toronto who is excited to work with WWAFD Mississauga as the Participant Liaison. She is passionate about community-based health and making health-related conversations more approachable. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and spending time in cozy, local cafés.
